Grandpa Newnham and the little Laide on whom he spins some sleep magic, just when we need it. The four of us were back at the Junction this last weekend and will be again during the coming one. This last one we achieved a shed door that looks BEAUTIFUL, bar the fact that the bottom corner sticks out an inch. I guess the wood warped during the three months it sat waiting to be hung. Shea is a bit crushed as it took him a whole weekend just to produce the door itself.
Little Laide and I managed to have the search parties sent out for us on Saturday night as we hadn't returned from an afternoon walk. We'd found the wonderful Astrid at home and settled into her warm and clean home for a chat, cuddle and glass of red. Time slipped by and before we knew it, it was 9pm and we'd not made ready dinner for our boys back at the tent. On wandering happily home we met Shea out looking for us.
"Camille!" he exclaimed, "where were you? I couldn't figure out how to work the can opener? I'm so hungry.."
